Urban Jungle Bloggers is a monthly series hosted by Igor and Judith to encourage us all to bring a little more green into our lives. Each month they, plus many bloggers worldwide, share ideas to create an urban jungle through styling ideas, DIYs and green tips & tricks and this month the theme is ‘wild animals and the cohabitation between jungle plants and jungle animals.’ So this is the perfect opportunity for my pair of roaring lions to take centre stage and wow the audience! I bought them a few months ago at a vintage fair just because they make me smile, despite missing a few teeth each! The jungle always makes me think of Africa so I have included this lovely carved lady as she is from my childhood years in Kenya and looks statuesque as she watches the lions.
